LAWRENCE Jacomelli
Lawrence is a versatile director with a passion for visual storytelling with an evocative and emotive core. He loves to tell personal stories and find hidden truths that seduce the viewer and set them up for the big TWIST.
Lawrence graduated from UWE with a BA Honours in Graphic Design. He then started out as an editor/cameraman for commercials, documentaries and theatre production before moving on to direct. He carries over this background of dramatic performance, editorial design and lighting camera work, to his Directorial Style – by keeping things simple and unobtrusive, working wherever possible with practical lighting schemes and a mixture of hand-held and crafted shot design, where performance is always held at the forefront of any aesthetic decision.
